The winning colour of the Hoodie this year is French Navy and grey.

Cost €28.

This year we want to have the full money by the 19th March

Collections will be made in both studios in LIT and MIC over the next few weeks… for further information please ask a member of staff.

The front of hoodie will have the ‘Wired Fm logo’ and the back will have ‘WIRED FM 99.9fm- Limericks only student radio station.

Rockband/Guitar Hero Tournament in MIC

The Wired FM Soc in MIC are holding a Rockband/Guitar Hero Tournament on Tuesday the 9th (Week 7).

€1 to play one song and your score goes on the leader board
€2 for three songs.
You can play whatever song you want (as long as its on Paul’s xbox)
The tournament will run from 11am-5pm

At the end of the day (5pm) there will be a face-off between the two highest scoring people.
Prize for the winner!!

And did we mention there will be food? yeah, there will be food when we announce the winner.

So if you think you kick ass in rockband, or if you just want a laugh..come to the lounge for a bit on Tuesday…..

(You could just watch your friends and laugh; but you will end up wanting a go!!)

Adobe Audition training…

If anybody wants further training  on Adobe Audition in the next few weeks, Martina will be running some lessons in the evening. Sign up sheets are posted on the studio doors in LIT & MIC. Times have yet to be decided so please place your name on the time most suitable to you. Classes commence the week of March 8th

L.I.T STAR AND NATIONAL I.T SONG CONTEST LOOKING FOR 4 HOST PRESENTERS

Limerick Institute of technology is now seeking (4) TV presenters who would act as hosts to the L.I.T Star competition on the 16th Feb 2010 and the National I.T song contest in the LIT Millenium theatre on the 24th March 2010 for tv shows to be broadcast on the internal network.  Anyone interested in presenting this presigious event such have the following qualities;

- Confident

- Energetic and Enthusiastic

- Able to improvise and take direction

- Able to work as a team

- Speak clearly

- Be available for rehersals prior to the conpetition and the day of the events.

Wired Fm will not be broadcasting on the 24th November due to strike action by staff in the campuses of MIC and LIT. Normal broadcast will resume on the 25th November.
