Get Involved with Wired FM!

Coming to college in Limerick, why not get involved in Limerick’s student station. We’ve studios at Mary Immaculate College and Limerick Institute of Technology, but regardless of where you’re studying, our door is open to you!

Wired FM are now accepting applications for new volunteers. Email manager [at] wiredfm.ie or fill out an application. 

No experience is required, as full training will be provided. We’ll be running training courses from early September.

You don’t have to producer/present your own show, we’ll be happy to find someone, or a team of people to work with you. There are so many ways to get involved. 

 

  • You could work as part of our current affairs team. 
  • You could in the work background as a researcher or technician. 
  • You could help produce advert/promos, idents, snipets or other imaging for the station. 
  • You could join one of our sub-committees, and get involved with PR/Marketing, organising events or gigs. 

We are always looking for…

  • Current Affairs Volunteers/budding Journalists
  • Irish Language Speakers
  • People interested in diverse and niche music genres
  • Arts Appreciators 
  • Health and Lifestyle Advocates  

We return to FM on the 9th of October, but we’ll be online from early September, you can listen here.
