Say hello to our new staff at Wired FM
Meet Wired FM’s new Studio Executives!
Hey guys, my name is John (O’ Dea) and I’ll be one of the full time co-ops in Wired FM this semester. I’m studying Psychology and Philosophy in Mary I, and I’ve been volunteering for Wired FM since first year doing a show called the Rock Stop! I’m into all kinds of music particularly rock, and I have interests in sports and current affairs too. Hope to see you in the studio, and be sure to tune in to 99.9 Wired FM!
You can hear some of John’s old shows here.
My name is Emer Ryan, I’m a third
year B.A student here in Mary Immaculate college and am pursuing a career in English and Media Studies. One of my greatest interests in life is the world of media and everything music. I see myself as a very creative and friendly person which reflects in my main hobbies of art and music. Luckily through working at Wired FM I now have the opportunity to live and breath community radio and having a studio executive title is just an added bonus😊
My name is Shane O’Carroll and I am a 3rd year BA student in Mary I, studying English and Media. My passions include acting, writing and directing and in the future I hope to work somewhere in the media sector be it in any of those three fields, or even in radio presenting which I’ve grown to love during my time as a volunteer on Wired FM. I am a film and television enthusiast and I’ve often found that this has helped me to easily come up with talking points when presenting my shows in the past. I hope to further my skills this year while working as a Studio Executive in Wired FM.The Studio Executives can be contacted here.
