Left of the Dial: Section 4
Section 4 are a Punk DIY band that formed in Ballina (Mayo) in 2007. Conor, Bob and Paul play a mix of Oi!, Punk and Reggae, with some pristine socially on the ball lyrics, that are invested in all that riles them about contemporary Ireland, and more. There is much to be angry about, but the lads view of the world is often humorous, done as it is through the prism of three lads that like to have their fun too.
They self-released their first album, “Sure This Is It” in 2011 and have just released 2nd Album, In No Fit State on Jobsworth Records. They launched it in their home town of Ballina at the Weekend (8th of March), and they are heading to England this week with with German band Robinson Krause for a couple of gigs in support of it. Ray from Left of the Dial caught up with them as they were nearing the ferry.
To hear from the lads, tune into Left of the Dial at 8pm Thursday on Wired FM.
