This Thursday on the show Ray chats to alt blues and steel guitar virtuoso Dave Arcari.
Making a strong case for the blues having originated in Loch Lomond (Scotland) and not the Mississippi Delta, Dave Arcari is pure raw talent. An excellent live performer, his own idiosyncratic line of the blues is a must for fans of the genre, but will also appeal to fans of trash country, punk and rockabilly too.
On the programme he tells us about life on the road, his forthcoming stint at the prestigious SWSW festival in Texas, and his plans to go into the studio this year, as well as return to Ireland.
