Commenting on the festival Indie Week Ireland Manager Darryl Hurs says,

INDIE WEEK is a music festival like no other. We celebrate talented emerging artists from different countries and give them a chance to win a showcase in a foreign market in front of music industry reps.

Indie Week Ireland is committed to building careers and professionalism among young bands. Central to this focus is the Industry Panel Discussion taking place in Dolan’s Warehouse on Saturday 26th April from 3pm to 4:30pm. The Panel presents a wealth of music industry knowledge and experience, and includes promoters, musicians, music journalists and academics.

Eoin Devereux of the Indie Week Ireland Organising Committee says,

How bands are booked, how to promote your music, who makes the artistic decisions – the Industry Panel will dispel the myths and dispense the facts, this is the perfect place for young bands to learn how the global music industry works.

The Industry Panel Discussion is open to anyone with an interest in the national and international music industry. There is no entry fee for this event.
